I’m now an ordained Elder in The United Methodist Church. When I started this blog, I was in my third of four years in seminary at Duke, serving a church as a student pastor in Durham. My husband Kevin and I live in Concord, NC.

I previously taught high school biology and received a Masters in Cellular & Molecular Biology from Wake Forest University.

In my “spare time” (if I ever find it!), I love being a music connoisseur, reading non-academic books, and crafting. Oh, and naps. Naps are great.
